Pond and house in winter
It snowed a few inches yesterday/last night.

The pond in fall
The pond is 43 degrees this morning. Some oak leaves and acorns are at the bottom of the pond but the skimmer is taking care of a lot of them and just spending a few minutes a day helps a lot.

Clear water
I turned off the pump for a few minutes to see how smooth the surface would get. The water striders kept it rippling a bit but I got some nice shots of how clear the water is getting. You can clearly see the deepest part, which is 7 feet. You can see a forgotten diving ring and the bacteria ball.
In one shot you can even see a few goldfish.

Beautiful fall day

Nice late summer weather
The pond is now about 70 degrees so we aren’t swimming as much but the weather is just amazing. The smoke from wildfires has calmed down so the air is much clearer.

Blue water
The blue dye is slowly fading. The water quality is great. The fish seem to be super healthy. They must be eating lots of string algae because it has mostly disappeared.
